Project Highlights:

Monica selected finishes,  fixtures and furniture that enriched the the home..

The home is refreshed with color, built-in elements, furnishings and a new staircase.

The living room design features built-in bookcase cabinets with TV display.  The dining room is enhanced with wood wainscot,  a pleasing blue color accent and a stunning chandelier.

The interior design for the home's main level connects unique architecture, the client's art and love of color in a delightful harmony of color, design and materials.  

Monica and the client collaborated on the design of a custom stair carpet at the entry that harmonizes the color palette.  The living room and sunroom designs focus on color, comfort, connection to art and the environment.

Establishing a vision for the home was the first step in designing color and pattern that refreshed the home.  Materials and colors relate to the the owner's artwork and cherished objects.  A green accent color at the fireplace built-in was selected to compliment featured  artwork.  Pattern and color create focus and delight through out the home.

This whole house renovation and expansion supports the families activities and celebrates existing and reclaimed materials.  The existing exterior brick was retained as a focal element in the kitchen and stair with selected craftsmen beautifully executing custom details.   The expansion created new space for the family with a variety of settings including a fitness room, family and great rooms, outdoor decks, screened porch and fire pit for gathering.  Monica provided interior design, planning and project management services coordinating with the  project architect and construction team.

Monica developed the design concept for this galley kitchen renovation, expanding the window line and developing a concept that is open, inviting and provides much needed additional storage.  The bathroom designs are refreshing and provide unique experiences.  A guest room is repurposed into a delightful home office setting. KSquared Builders constructed the project and brought the vision to life with perfect details.

This renovation and expansion transformed the home's original  kitchen, bath, living and dining into a warm and welcoming space. The original pine flooring was refreshed and complemented with new wood details including columns and live edge walnut slab counters. Local stone was used for a feature wall at the new wood burning stove.  The spaces were redesigned creating a flow to the great room that delights family and friends.
